The FLUIDICS FixDrip valve is suitable for any burner with fluidics or stone nozzles. It improves the combustion process and reduces emissions.
All advantages at a glance:
- Easy to retrofit by replacing with the primary filter
- A standard oil nozzle can still be used (suitable for FLUIDICS, Steinen, Hago and Danfoss SF-D and HF-D steel nozzles).
- No pressure loss up to 5.0 USgal/h nozzle capacity, i.e. pump pressure, flow rate and tolerances remain unchanged. - Ensures a better start of the burner, as the nozzle can form a complete spray cone immediately after reaching the opening pressure.
- Reduces the build-up of deposits on the nozzle and thus extends its service life.
- Reduces the start-stop emissions of hydrocarbons (CxHy) and carbon monoxide (CO).
- Eliminates dripping from the nozzle after switching off and thus prevents soiling of the burner head and nozzle and the resulting odour in the boiler room.
- No further modification to the burner or the oil supply is required.
- It is equipped with a 200 mesh sieve filter (material 1.4401). This filter retains all particles larger than 75 µm and protects the valve and nozzle at the same time.
Mounting the FixDrip valves
If the nozzle was supplied with the filter fitted, the filter must first be removed. The FixDrip valve must then be carefully tightened by hand as tightly as possible without damaging the O-ring. In order to guarantee perfect function and sealing, the FixDrip valve must be installed with the highest level of cleanliness. When handling the nozzle, it is essential to ensure that the nozzle bore is neither contaminated nor damaged. It is therefore best to avoid any contact with the hole!
