Oil burner malfunctions
My oil burner does not start, engine hums and burner goes to fault after a short time
Possible reasons:
- Oil pump is fixed and blocks the motor
- Motor shaft is stuck, motor defective
- Starting capacitor of the motor defective
- Pump coupling defective
My burner starts, ignites normally, burns and goes to fault after approx. 10 sec.

- Photocell defective or soiled
- Burner control unit defective
My burner pre vents, valve opens audibly, but no flame is coming
