Conversion notes

Conversion of the old boiler output (kcal) to kW
Formal: kcal / 860 = kW
Example: Old boiler output 52000 kcal / 860 = 60.47 kW.

Calculation of the power for water heating
Remember: 1 kcal is the heat energy needed to warm 1 kg of water by 1° Celsius.
So, to heat 1000 liters of water by 25°C, you need 1000(l) * 1 (kcal) * 25(°C) = 25000 kcal. According to the above example, 25000 / 860 = 29.07 kW.

Conversion mbar to pascal
0,1 mbar = 10 Pa
1 mbar = 100 Pa
10 mbar = 1000 Pa
100 mbar = 10000 Pa
