Approved for cylindrical tanks made of steel according to EN 12285-1, 12285-2, DIN 6624, as well as plastic or other recognised materials whose design and dimensions comply with the standards listed above and which are approved according to the VbF design type. Cylindrical upright tanks made of steel according to DIN 6619, 6618, 6623. Flat-bottom tanks according to DIN 4119. Storage liquid: EL heating oil according to DIN 51603-1, diesel fuel according to EN 590, fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) as biodiesel according to EN 14214, petrol fuel according to EN 228. Application: Above-ground and underground tanks for the storage of EL heating oil according to DIN 51603, diesel fuel according to DIN 51601 and bio-diesel fuel according to DIN 51606.
• Cylindrical, horizontal tanks made of steel in accordance with DIN 6608, 6616, 6617 and 6624 as well as plastic or other recognised materials whose design and dimensions comply with the standards listed above and which are approved in accordance with the VbF (German Association for the Transport of Fuel). • Cylindrical, upright tanks made of steel according to DIN 6619, 6623.
Underground tanks in accordance with TRbF 40 No. 5.2 for the storage of petrol in accordance with DIN 51600 / 51607:
• Cylindrical, horizontal tanks made of steel according to DIN 6608 under the following conditions:
1. the ground cover must be at least 0.8 m
2. the fuel must be withdrawn discontinuously
3. the withdrawal rate per tank or tank section must not exceed 200 l/min and
4. the limit value transmitter may only be connected to devices that fulfil the requirements of VDE 0171 DIN EN 50039) for the ‘intrinsic safety’ type of protection. (A discontinuous withdrawal is given is given if the pumping process is interrupted several times within an hour, e.g. at petrol stations).
